What I Saw While Meditating This Past Friday

During corpse pose at yoga this past Friday, I had a vision of having to finish something work-related because I violated the rules. It snapped me out of what was a lovely and relaxing end to a lovely and relaxing yoga session. I just wish I knew what it meant exactly. I’m still trying to suss that out.

  1. Its merely the mind bringing it to the surface from the subconscious and it stuck to the subconscious because your are not at peace with the violation of the rules.

    1. I think that’s what bothers me in part. I always used to think of myself as a free spirit at heart who has a problem with authority. It looks like I’m not. Undermining one’s self-image may be good in the long run, but it can be a troubling and difficult process.

      1. Everyone has a problem with authority. You follow orders from a person who is ready to do it on their own if no one does it. You do it not because you have to because you want to. If you do something because you have to then you are in line to be very dissatisfied with life. Sometimes a act is done using a process because its impact is felt over the period of time but one should question the logic of an action.

As for undermining self-image, this is a slippery slope. If you let the ego decide then its bound to bring more pain but if you let the intellect decide smartly then the self image is not undermined and you are at peace with the action you have taken.
